12th Annual Waunakee Food for Kidz

On Sunday, October 22, over 1,400 volunteers packaged
364,136 meals.

​2,405,972 meals packaged in Waunakee since 2006!
 

200,000 of the Oatmeal and Rice/bean meals were loaded directly into a container and shipped to the Feed My Lambs Ministry school in Haiti. A Waunakee Food for Kidz led group traveled to Haiti January 9 - 17 to help serve and distribute the food.

70,000 meals were given to the Dane County Community Action Coalition (CAC) for distribution to over 50 local food pantries.

The remaining meals were sent by Food for Kidz to Puerto Rico and other islands to help the recent hurricane victims.
