Over the past 15 years, Waunakee has packaged 3,556,036 million meals to help feed hungry children and their families.
80,000 Instant fortified Cinamon oatmeal and 120,000 Rice/Bean meals were packed this year.
Where does the food go?
- 50,000 meals were given to the the Dane County Community Action Coalition. (CAC) They give the meals to local food pantries.
- A shipping container was also filled with food and supplies for the Feed My Lambs Orphanage in Haiti. The need is great in Haiti because of the recent earthquake, Covid & political unrest.
