Waunakee Food for Kidz
   2021 Food for Kidz will be on October 10 at the Waunakee High School Commons
​Shift signup available in early September

Over the past 14 years, Waunakee has packaged 3,356,036  million meals to help feed hungry children and their families.

​Last year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we had to cancel our annual Waunakee event.
This year we have scaled down the event and moved it to the High School commons.  This will create less congestion for all the volunteers.  We will be following Dane County Guidelines and masks will be required inside the High School. 

Donations needed to purchase the ingredients for 200,000 meals.

Where does the food go?

• Goal is 200,000 meals
• Meals will be given to the the Dane County Community Action Coalition.  They give the meals to local food pantries. (CAC) 
• Donations will also being used to fill a shipping container with food for the Feed My Lambs Orphanage in Haiti.  The need is great in Haiti because of the recent earthquake, Covid & political unrest.
